Applicants of the eligible countries/territories may apply online minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival with a window of 30 days. Example: If you are applying on 1st Sept then applicant can select arrival date from 5th Sept to 4th Oct. Once eTa is issued and sent you can enter India within 34 days. With evisa you are entitled to single entry into India and maximum stay of 30 days. Electronic visa is non-extendable. The validity period of the eTourist visa is 34 days and entitles you exclusively to a one-time entry within this period.

e-Visa is valid only for entry through 28 designated Airports (i.e. Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Portblair, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Varanasi and Vishakhapatnam) and 5 designated seaports (i.e. Chennai, Cochin, Goa, Mangalore, Mumbai). If you are entering India through other Immigration Check Point than mentioned You must apply for a regular, 6 month tourist visa at the nearest Indian Visa Application Centre.
